Crayon Box Page

Which colour today? Blue for the sky, then green for the grass, then all four out at once for a very busy picture on an imaginary page. The crayons come all the way out of the box and go back in, and for a lot of children the putting-away is the best bit: everything home, box closed, ready for next time.

Four felt crayons in a stitched pocket, sized for small fists. Colour naming, in-and-out play and a small ritual of choosing and tidying that travels well.
